Much has been happening since the launch of Locksmith Trader in January 2008 and there have been a number of modifications and improvements to the programming
Some of the Special Features of Locksmith Trader are :
- Members can buy and sell from anywhere in the world including Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada and the United States. In fact members from all over the world are registered in the region closest to their home and we also have individuals from Denmark, Sweden, Germany, South Africa and Singapore to mention a few
- Private and Secure Messenging System between Member. Emails are fine for talking but if you are buying and selling to each other you will want the details kept secure. The Messaging also provides a continuous thread of the same conversation.
- Upload your unwanted items individually and include a nice photo to show it off or if you like there is a bulk upload that means you can punch in lots of items at the one sitting. The bulk upload feature is much faster and it is intended for items that don’t need a photo (say like key blanks)/li>
- Video Walk Through is a ‘talking’ download that takes you through the various features to familiarize you with the navigation and how to do things. Click here to view
- Retail Stores are coming soon. We at Locksmith Trader get a lot of enquiries from the general public for items listed and there is an opportunity for you to have both the opportunity to sell both to others in the trade or at a higher price to the general public. This will be a virtual ‘shopping mall’ for both the trade and the general public. The first 10 Retail Shops are offered Fee Free for the first 12 months (two have already been sold) Free rent for a year and all you have to pay is for the ‘shopfitting’ and a small fee when somebody buys your item. (There are no listing fees either for Retail Store owners) Contact the administrator in ‘Messaging’ for more information.

Everyone is welcome to view the range of products on eTrading (Online Product Listing) and you may enquire to buy any items without registration being necessary but there will be some security items that may only be sold to bona fides locksmiths.
